Sailing at the Oakridge School is definitely on course.
This past week Oakridge Upper School student, Nick Keathley competed at the Fort Worth Boat Club in the Jr. Ol' Man of the Sea Regatta. Nick joined Sailing teammates for a friendly competition with other Laser class sailboat racers from around Texas. It was a beautiful weekend with over 100 boats in attendance because it is part of Texas Sailing Association's (TSA) youth circuit regattas around the state.
Additionally, a few of the Oakridge Summer Camp Junior Sailors have gone on to race with Arlington Yacht Club in their club regattas. Congratulations to Jackson, who won 1st place in the Sunfish Division in the 2014 Jr. Regatta on Saturday! Way to go!
