The Oakridge Parents’ Club (OPC) will host the annual Back to School Fair in conjunction with The Oakridge School’s Family Picnic from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019.
The Fair will be held in the Multi-Purpose Activity Center (MAC) and gives families time to chat with some Oakridge teachers, coaches, and other faculty and staff, and to submit paperwork, shop for spirit wear and gently used school uniforms, and gather helpful information for the upcoming school year. “Our hope is that the fair provides an opportunity for families to check off some of their ‘to-do’ items in one place and on one day,” said OPC President Shelley Hodges.

First day of school posters
It will soon be that time of year again when parents plead for their child(ren) to “say cheese” for a sweet picture on their first day of school. During the Aug. 17 Fair, make sure to get a mini poster as inspiration for your student, Preschool through Grade 12, to take a photo. Then, on the first day of school, Wednesday, Aug. 21, share the photo on Oakridge’s Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook page, using any of the following hashtags:
