The Oakridge School will welcome back family and friends for Homecoming 2019 on Friday, Sept. 27. The action leading to the big game begins Monday, Sept. 23 with Spirit Week. Our theme this year is "Big Top Oakridge... The Great Show on Earth!" There's something fun for the youngest students to the young at heart alumni.
Monday – Big Top Oakridge Day Wear Red and White Stripes and a Crazy Hat
Tuesday– Cotton Candy Day Wear Pink or Blue
Wednesday –Texas Rodeo Day Wear your western wear
Thursday – Fashion Disaster Day Wear mismatched clothes and silly socks
Friday– Wear your Homecoming shirt today because... Oakridge is the Greatest Show on Earth!
All non-uniform guidelines apply. Should students choose not to participate in spirit days, the school uniform must be worn. Proceeds from the Homecoming T-shirts go toward the fireworks show, which will take place immediately following the conclusion of the game. Of course, families are encouraged to come out and watch the morning parade that begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27. The pre-game activities will make Owls soar with pride.
