Oakridge Art Student Brad Greer Wins Governor's Award

Brad Greer is an amazing 8th grade art student.  His art was selected among hundreds of pieces to be on display at the Bob Bullard Museum in Austin.  From that exhibit, the Governor chose the best 12 pieces to hang on display in his office the entire year.  Brad's was one of them!

This is a great honor for Brad and the second year in a row the Middle School has had this recognition (Abby Brown won last year).  Brad was recognized in Austin, met the Governor's wife, and received a certificate and a medal.  When his art is returned it will be framed with the Governor's signature on the mat.  Brad's picture was an oil pastel of a white bulldog named Bubbles.

Oakridge is very proud of Brad!
